Life is dynamic, complex, and interconnected – we embrace it, then break it down

Our research is about using integrative omics to dissect complexities. We do this by using mass spectrometry-based measurements of proteins, metabolites, and lipids with bioinformatics and computational biology to enable deeper understandings of living systems. To accomplish this ambitious goal, we develop new technologies in mass spectrometry, chemical biology, and bioinformatics that our accomplished collaborators and internal PNNL investigators apply to diverse biological questions.
