MS/MS Spectra Preprocessor

This software can be used to generate or process SEQUEST .dta files, concatenated .Dta files (_dta.txt), and Mascot .mgf files. The spectra in the files can be tested against one of three filters, with the results reported in a tab-delimited text file. Additionally, new spectra files can be created that only contain spectra passing the filters. Available filters are:

  • Amino-acid spacing based spectrum quality
  • Intensity threshold based spectrum quality
  • Phosporylation neutral loss
